Space Frog - A Space Initiative
Story Description:
One day while working in his office, Froggy is coming up with his next plans for the Froggy Army when he is interrupted by his best friend, Mr.Teddy, bursting in. Mr.Teddy explains to Froggy that during his lunch break, he and Snuffy overheard a rumor that the Disaster Gang were going to make their base in space! Full of jealousy and envy to be the first to have a base in space, Froggy exclaims that this is the new mission of the Froggy Army. Who will be the first group to make a base in space? Find out in the first ever Froggy Army Event, Space Frog - A Space Initiative!
Chapter 1:
Analyzing the Corkboard
It was a regular afternoon for the Froggy Army, and as he always does during this time, Froggy was admiring all the things on his cork board. The Froggy Army had finished their weekly strategy meeting a few hours ago and were currently on their lunch break, except for Froggy, who had snuck off to take a nap and lost track of time until now. Froggy had printed out a new stack of spiffy images to begin pining onto his board.
He was in the middle of tying a green string between the image of the Froggy Army and a box of Applejacks when suddenly, a stuffed bear burst into his office. The bear was holding a pot of honey in his hand.
“Froggy! I’ve got something important to tell you” the bear shoved another pawful of honey into his mouth.
Froggy turned to face his best friend.
“What is it Mr.Teddy? Are we being attacked again?” Froggy hid himself under his desk and braced for impact.
“What? No, why would we be getting attacked?” Mr.Teddy placed his paw on his cheek in confusion, causing some of the honey to smear onto his face. “Oops” Mr.Teddy struggled to lick it off his face.
“Oh. Then what are you so worked up about?” Froggy got up from underneath his desk and dusted himself off.
“Well, I was eating my delicious pot of honey” Mr.Teddy paused to stuff another pawful of honey into his mouth. “When Snuffy told me that while he was at the watercooler, he heard the members of the Disaster Gang talking about building a secret base in space”.
Froggy gasped.
“A SECRET BASE?! Nobody builds a base without The Frog!” Froggy slammed his stub on the desk. “That’s it! That’s what our next mission will be” Froggy said, his eyes gleaming with determination. “Get ready, because the Froggy Army is going to space!”
Chapter 2:
Space Race
Fergie pointed at a diagram of a spaceship.
“Listen up gang! This is a detailed blueprint of the base that we’re going to launch into space”. The other members of the Disaster Gang roared with applause.
“Way to go, boss! I can’t wait” BLUE shook Ribbity excitedly, who seemed to be getting a little motion sick.
“But isn’t space dangerous? What if we explode? Or we run out of screws for the ship? Or we run out of air? Or Garf eats all the rations?” Friggle cowered behind BLUE. He was more mumbling these worries to himself more than actually asking.
“I’m sure this will be a great achievement for the Disaster Gang” Instant Gratification Monkey nodded with approval. Kirb continued to smile with glee.
“Smol Boi, you’re in charge of getting the materials” Fergie pointed at Smol Boi. The Disaster Gang went to their stations, ready to build their portion of the ship. Smol Boi waddled his way out of the warehouse.
Chapter 3:
Snuffy Goes to Space?!
Snuffy walked towards the direction of the water cooler. He waved to Kitty, who was working hard on her daily journal entry in one of the cubicles. She smiled and waved back to him. Snuffy approached the water cooler and to his surprise, he saw Bob and Margret resting on the sofa. Bob and Margret rarely showed up at the office.
“Hi Snuffy!” Margret waved her feather.
“Hi Margret, Hi Bob!” Snuffy grabbed a cup from the coffee table. Bob took a sip from his coffee cup. Margret wiped his face with a small hand cloth, the perfect size for a tiny turkey.
But right before Snuffy could fill his cup, he heard small footsteps coming towards him. Snuffy looked around the corner and noticed it was Smol Boi. Except, he wasn’t going to grab a glass of water, he was holding a cardboard box full of junk. Snuffy remembered that this was junk from the storage room that Froggy kept avoiding to throw out.
“Why would anyone want junk from the storage room? Smol Boi is definitely up to something.” Snuffy hid behind the water cooler and watched Smol Boi as he walked away towards the abandoned warehouse outside of the Froggy’s Army’s office.
“I have to tell Froggy about this!” Snuffy waited till Smol Boi exited the office before filling his cup with water and rushing over to Froggy’s Office.
When Snuffy entered Froggy’s Office, he saw Froggy frantically adding new items to a cork board with the label Froggy’s Army Space Initiative!. Mr.Teddy was sitting in Froggy’s desk chair, giving Froggy advice on his progress while snacking on a pot of honey. Froggy whipped around to see who had just burst through his door.
“Have any of you people heard of knocking?”
“Sorry boss, but this is really important. It’s about your space initiative” That got Froggy’s attention.
“I saw Smol Boi taking the cardboard box from the storage room to the abandoned warehouse. I think the Disaster Gang are up to something”
“Sounds suspicious. Wait, who is the Disaster Gang Again? No matter, we will not stand for suspicious activity in the Froggy Army. Except for me, I’m the only one who’s allowed to be suspicious” Froggy nodded to himself.
“But how will we find out what they’re up to?” Asked Mr.Teddy.
“We’ve got the perfect person right here” Froggy and Mr.Teddy both looked at Snuffy, who now seemed hesitant.
“Welcome to the Space Initiative, Snuffy”.
Chapter 4:
HR VS. The Space Initiative
Mall Ard looked at the clock on her office wall - 4:30pm. It was almost time to go home. This is strange. She thought to herself. By now Froggy would have emailed me several times asking if he can go home early. She checked her inbox again - nothing. Not even a meme? Now this is strange. Maybe I should go check on him, just to make sure that he’s actually getting some work done for a change. Mall Ard smiled to herself as she got up from her office chair.
Bear was typing away at their desk, making sure to take a sip of water from their glass in between answering emails. As Mall Ard passed the cubicles, she noticed that they were unusually empty for a Tuesday afternoon.
“Bear dear, have you heard from Froggy?” Mall Ard adjusted her glasses.
“No. Froggy told me not to tell you that he was very busy building a spaceship to take over space”.
“Really?” Mall Ard looked at Bear, who was blissfully unaware.
“Yeah! I’m so excited to take a field trip to space! Just imagine all the pretty stars. Oh and all the friends we’ll make along the way” Bear opened a new tab on their computer. “We’re gonna need helmets, backpacks, and custom tees”. As Bear typed away, Mall Ard walked towards Froggy’s Office.
“You might wanna wait on those items, dear. I have a frog to speak to first” Mall Ard responded passive aggressively, all though Bear did not hear her, as they were too busy looking at fancy space helmets.
The sounds of construction rang throughout the corridor. Mall Ard picked up the pace. I KNEW Froggy was up to something! There is NO WAY he is getting away with this, not under my watch. Mall Ard approached Froggy’s Office door and aggressively knocked. No one answered. Fine, I’ll just have to force myself in. Mall Ard tried to open the door, but to no avail. There seems to be something blocking the door. She used the weight of her body to force open the door.
As the door opened, Mall Ard was blasted with the sounds of Froggy’s Battle Playlist.
“STOP THIS RACKET THIS INSTANT!” Mall Ard shouted. The members of the Froggy Army stopped what they were doing. Except for Froggy, who was still dancing on top of his desk. Mall Ard stomped over to Froggy’s desk and hit pause on his battle playlist.
“Hey! Who dares to stop The Frog’s funky beats?!” Froggy looked down.
“Oh… I mean, Hi Mall Ard” Froggy nervously hopped off of his desk, hoping she would not comment on what she just saw.
“What in the WORLD are you doing? I thought I told you to submit your paperwork for a proposal for a potential next plan” Mall Ard paced around the room, adjusting her glasses to assess the situation.
“Umm, spring cleaning…” Froggy shrugged nervously.
“Please, do I look like I was born yesterday?”
“No- I mean yes, you look very lovely today”
“Thank yo- FROGGY! Flattery will not get you out of this situation. Bear has already told me about your plans to go to space”
“Good. So that means we can continue to work on the ship. Get back to work everyone!” The other members cheered and Froggy hit play on his jams.
“ABSOLUTELY NOT!” Mall Ard stopped the music again, causing the other members to stop working again.
“I have not given my approval for this operation, therefore, you are not allowed to proceed any further. I officially ban all work in relation to the Froggy Army’s Space Initiative”
“NOOOOOO!” Froggy dropped down to his knees. “Please Mall Ard, we have to go to space!”
“There will be no further discussion on this matter” Mall Ard made her way to the door.
“But if we don’t make it to space, the Disaster Gang will get there first!” Mall Ard paused. She whipped around to face Froggy.
“Is that so?” She smirked and adjusted her glasses.
“Why didn’t you say so? You know I score to settle with them”. Mall Ard rubbed her feathers together.
“As your HR representative, I officially approve your proposal of the Froggy Army’s Space Initiative!” The Froggy Army cheered.
“Thank you Mall Ard! We won’t disappoint you”.
Chapter 5:
Space Frog - A Space Initiative!!!
Space. A place where humans strive to go. To explore the vast unknown. To answer the universe’s most puzzling questions. Humans can only dream of experiencing the wonders of space. Notice how I said humans. This story is not about humans, but about stuffed animals who have made it to space! Good for them. It’s kinda sad that these creatures have accomplished way more in their lives in a short five chapter story than I have in my entire life. Am I getting paid for this narration? No? This is a load of bullshi-
“We did it bois. We made it to SPACE!” Froggy exclaimed.
The Froggy Army cheered. There was not enough room on the shuttle to take the entire Froggy Army, so only Snuffy, Mr.Teddy, Bob, Margret, Mall Ard, and Froggy actually got to go.
Froggy and the other members stepped out of the shuttle, and began floating around.
“We are officially the first ever group of stuffed animals to make it to space!” The Froggy Army cheered.
“Hold it right there!” Fergie yelled as the members of the Disaster Gang stepped out of their shuttle.
“WE are actually the first group of stuffed animals to make it to space. Isn’t that right, gang?”
“Yeah!” Screamed the Disaster Gang in unison.
“WHAT?! Is that true?” Froggy looked at Mall Ard, who was busy reading a book. Mall Ard turned the page and looked up.
“Well technically, both groups stepped out at the same time”. She adjusted her glasses and returned to reading.
“Then how do we decide who gets to be in the history books?” Fergie said.
“We fight to the death!!!” Froggy lunged towards Fergie, who swiftly dodged Froggy's attack.
“Goo!” Mr.Teddy followed Froggy. He managed to hit Instant Gratification Monkey, who got launched into the vast emptiness.
“NOOO!” Screamed Friggle. He shivered in fear.
“We have to get out of here. It's too dangerous!” Friggle tried to swim away, but was stopped by Snuffy, who was using his snout to hold Friggle back.
“STOP!” Everyone froze.
“We shouldn't be fighting”. Bob looked at Margret.
“Why can't we share this beautiful achievement together? Space is a place for everyone” Margret raised her feather.
“Margret’s right”. Mall Ard looked at the group of vast characters gathered before her.
“Space is for all of us. I officially declare the Froggy Army AND the Disaster Gang as the first ever group of stuffed animals to make it to space!” Mall Ard raised her feathers. Everyone cheered. Froggy and Fergie shook hands.
There we have it. The story of how the first ever group of stuffed animals made it to space. This story always brings tears to my eyes. Wait a minute, no it doesn't. Who keeps writing this nonsense into my scripts? When I get my hands on that frog I'm gonna-
Froggy's Army Events Season 1 Event 2
Lost in THE VOID
Story Description:
After their tumultuous adventure in space, the Froggy Army decides to spend the next week relaxing. That is, until Bagpuss runs into what seems like just an ordinary broom closet in the Froggy Army’s warehouse. Little did he know that this broom closet is home to THE VOID!
Prologue:
The Froggy Army and The Disaster Gang had just returned from space and were celebrating their victories when Bagpuss heard a creaking noise coming from the broom closet. Sitting on his favorite pillow, Bagpuss bravely reached up to the broom closet door and opened it. Unfortunately for him, this was not your average broom closet. This broom closet was home to a dark force like no other. A force so menacing that I honestly have no idea how Froggy managed to fit this shit in the broom closet. Wait, was it him who put it there or was it someone else entirely?
Inside the broom closet was THE VOID! A large, dark, all encompassing void! THE VOID began consuming everything in its path. Froggy and the others got sucked in, all flying passed Bagpuss, who was trying his best to escape. Bagpuss tried to hold on to his pillow to stop himself from getting sucked in, but it was no use. He had already opened up the Pandora’s Box known as THE VOID and his fate had already been decided.
Chapter 1:
THE VOID
Round and Round Bagpuss spun, deeper and deeper into THE VOID. He watched his body move on its own in absolute terror, as his friends zipped passed.
Bagpuss caught a glimpse of Instant Gratification Monkey’s face, which was stuck in its signature grin, as if he had already accepted his fate. Bagpuss couldn't tell if it had been minutes or days. All he knew was that he had been spinning for what felt like a long time, and he was getting quite sick of all this motion. It reminded him of when he used to sail the seven seas, leading his crew to victory. Wait, that's it! Bagpuss thought to himself. A glimmer of determination returned to his eyes, pushing away his fears. If I try to stabilize my weight with the motion of spinning, just like I used to on the S.S. Feline, I should be able to stop myself from getting motion sickness. Bagpuss focused on the center of rotation and tried to stabilize his body weight. By aligning himself with the center of the gravity in THE VOID, he was able to reduce the harsh effects of the spinning motion and straighten himself out.
Now that the harsh spinning had slowed down significantly, Bagpuss was able to hear his thoughts more clearly and assess the situation. He focused on the spiralling motion of the gray smoke that seemed to enter the dark, charcoal center. It was reminiscent of a blackhole, engulfing all that laid in its path. His friends and the objects from the Froggy Army’s headquarters were no longer visible, leaving Bagpuss all alone. Bagpuss yawned, struggling to keep his eyes open. Tired from the rollercoaster of emotions he felt, Bagpuss sighed, curled up into a ball, and fell asleep. He swore he could hear a voice that whispered you're making a grave mistake in his dream, but it was probably just THE VOID playing tricks on him. Right?
Chapter 2:
THE VAST
When Bagpuss woke up, his body was no longer feeling the intense motions of THE VOID.
He could feel a light wind brushing through his fur. Bagpuss yawned and stretched out his body. The freshly grown grass crunched beneath his paws. Grass? I don't remember there being any grass. Bagpuss looked around at his surroundings. He couldn't see anything other than grass around him. However, the sky seemed beautifully clear, as if there was a possibility that weather could occur here, or even, a presence of a sun for that matter. How is that possible? I thought I was still in that scary dark place. Am I still dreaming?
Before Bagpuss could do some more investigating, his thoughts were interrupted by the same voice he had heard just moments before he had fallen asleep earlier.
“Bagpuss. You and the Froggy Army are in grave danger! THE VOID will stop at nothing until it consumes all!”
Terrified of the mysterious voice, Bagpuss began to run. He ran and ran and ran, but he could still hear the voice as if it were coming from someone standing right in front of him.
“Running is no use. THE VAST has no beginning nor end.
”Eventually, Bagpuss’s body got too tired to run and gave out. He sprawled out on the grass on his stomach and struggled to catch his breath. How could there only be grass here? That's impossible.
“Fear not, little tabby, for there is a way out of THE VAST, for I have tamed its wild nature.”
Suddenly, a tall figure appeared before Bagpuss. He donned a black wizard's cloak and a large, tattered, brown wizard's hat. He was holding a staff that was almost just as long as his body.
Chapter 3:
THE CORRUPT
“Greetings little tabby, I am Muffin. I have traveled through many dimensions and have brought you here to keep you safe. It's a good thing I saw you while I was dimension hopping, or else who knows where you would have ended up.” Muffin scratched his beard as he looked up towards the sky in deep thought, pondering the many possible outcomes.
“Dimension hopping? Keeping me safe? Wait, does that mean we’re in danger?!” Bagpuss cowered low to the ground, looking around to see if he could see any enemies coming towards them.
“Fear not, they can not enter THE VAST.” Muffin reached his arm out in an exaggerated fashion, likely to exacerbate the sheer vastness of their current location.
“Who are ‘they’?” Bagpuss was afraid of the answer, but was more afraid of the unknown.
“‘They’ my dear tabby, are known as THE CORRUPT! THE CORRUPT are beings that invade any dimension they can hack into. Once they’ve broken in, they camouflage themselves and slowly infect the dimension, like viruses. They continue to destroy all that is present until the dimension is only a shell of its former self. This broken down state is what we call, THE CORRUPTED!”
“What happens once a dimension becomes corrupted?” Bagpuss, now intrigued by this new found information, perked up.
“I can no longer restore it to its previous state of being. Shame really. So much is lost. Homes, lives, history of civilizations.” Muffin shook his head in disappointment.
“Oh no, then what is going to happen to my home? To the Froggy Army?” Bagpuss began to tremble again.
“Why, that’s why I’ve returned for you, little tabby”. Muffin looked down at Bagpuss and looked him in the eyes.
“You, my dear tabby, are the chosen one who is going to help me restore your dimension!”
“Me?! But I’m just a raggedy old cloth cat. I can’t fight off THE CORRUPTED.”
“But you show potential young one. Why, you were the only other person I have met in THE VOID that has been able to stabilize their state of mind. Usually, people who are sucked into THE VOID are driven mad until they reach the state of corruption.”
“Oh no, then we have to save my friends!” Bagpuss shot up to his paws with a new found determination. “The other members of the Froggy Army were sucked inside of THE VOID with me.”
“Then we must leave now, before it’s too late!” Muffin then gave a wave of his staff, which opened up a gateway above them. The harsh winds sucked the two of them up, back into THE VOID.

The Great Easter Egg Hunt!

Story Description:
It’s Easter and the members of the Froggy Army have planned an Easter egg hunt! Join the kids of the Froggy Army as they aim to win this year’s Easter egg hunting competition!
Chapter 1:
An Easter Egg Hunt?!
Baby Bee was hanging out with his friends in the Froggy Army’s daycare. They were coloring together. Baby Bee loved to play with his friends! They were creating Easter decorations for the Froggy Army Headquarters. Bumbino was in charge of the cutting, Kanna, Baby Mr.Teddy, and James Yertle Bond were in charge of coloring, and Kitty-O was in charge of adding glitter. Arts and Crafts time was a usual part of the children’s day at Froggy Army Daycare, but Baby Bee enjoyed it just a bit more when holidays were around the corner.
They were putting together an easter egg garland. Their caretaker, Snuffy, was helping them attach the cardstock eggs to the string. He was in the middle of attaching the last egg to the garland when Froggy’s voice could be heard over the intercom.
“Good Morning Froggy Army! It is your grand leader speaking, FROGGY! (There was a short pause and a distant applause could be heard, likely from Bear). I would like to announce that the Froggy Army will be hosting their first ever, EASTER EGG HUNT! (There was another short pause, to which a party horn could be heard faintly). For those members who are interested in participating, which you all should, please come down to the front desk to sign the sign-up sheet. I hope to see you all there!” Click. Froggy hung up the intercom.
“An Easter Egg Hunt?! Really?” Kitty-O asked, bouncing up and down excitedly.
“We have to go!” said Bumbino.
“I hope there’s lots of candy,” Kanna said.
“I wonder if the person who finds the most eggs wins a prize?” James Yertle Bond asked, looking at Snuffy for the answer.
“Well I guess we’ll have to just go and ask Bear. Come on, kids, let’s go!” Snuffy led the way, while the children followed in a single file line. Baby Bee was the last one to leave the room.
“I wonder what it will be like?” Baby Bee thought to himself.
Chapter 2:
Saying Hello to Bear
The children of the Froggy Army followed Snuffy in a single file line through the Froggy Army’s Headquarters. They passed many different office spaces until they walked down the staircase and stopped in front of the reception desk.
Bear was hard at work, filing paperwork for the Froggy Army’s latest arc.
“Hello Bear! Sorry to bother you, but the children wanted to sign up for the Easter Egg hunt”. Snuffy had to stand on his hind legs to be able to see Bear over the tall desk.
“Hi Snuffy! I’m glad the children want to participate! Here is the sign-up sheet”. Bear handed Snuffy the sign-up sheet for the Easter Egg Hunt. As Snuffy filled out the paperwork, the children talked with Bear about the event.
“Is there a prize for whoever finds the most eggs?” James Yertle Bond asked.
“Yes! But Froggy told me to keep it a secret until the day of the event. I wonder what it is?”
“What?! Froggy didn’t even tell Bear what the prize was?” Kitty-O looked at Bumbino, who was surprised as well.
“I wonder what the prize is? Maybe it’s a ton of candy?”
“Kanna, we’re looking for eggs full of candy. Why would Froggy give us more?” Baby Mr. Teddy said.
Snuffy finished signing the paperwork.
“Okay children, we’re all signed up for the Easter Egg Hunt! Let’s head back to the craft room and finish our Easter decorations!”
“Yay!”
“Bye Bear! See you at the egg hunt!” The children said goodbye to Bear and followed Snuffy back to the craft room.
Chapter 3:
Get Ready. Get Set. EGG HUNT!
“Good morning Froggy Army!” It was the day of the Egg hunt and most of the members of the Froggy Army were gathered outside of the Froggy Army’s Headquarters. Froggy was speaking to the crowd using a megaphone.
“Today marks the first ever Froggy Army Easter Egg Hunt!” The crowd cheered with a roaring applause.
“Are you all ready?” The crowd got into their starting positions in front of the podium. The kids of the Froggy Army were so excited that they could barely stay still.
“Get Set!” Baby Bee tightened his grip onto his Easter Basket. Nothing could get in his way.
“GO!” Froggy yelled, as Bear burst a party popper and the crowd began racing towards the wide open field, looking feverishly in any and all possible places someone could have hidden an egg. The children darted off in all different directions. Baby Bee decided to race off towards a tree, which had an egg hidden inside of the branches.
As the timer ticked down, Baby Bee continued to look in every place he could possibly think of, but there were no eggs to be found. He decided to check in on the others. Baby Bee flew over to Kitty-O, who was looking inside of a bush.
“Hey Kitty-O. How many eggs have you found so far?” Baby Bee lowered himself closer to the ground. Kitty-O Popped out from inside the bush. She had a disappointed look on her face.
“I’ve only found two. I just can’t seem to find any. I asked the others and they’ve had no luck either. How many did you find?”
“Only one.”
“One?! I don’t see how any of us are going to win.” Kitty-O looked down at the blades of grass.
“Unless…. We all work together!”
“Work together?”
“Yeah! If we all work together as a team, we can combine all of our eggs at the end!”
“Let’s go tell the others!” Baby Bee and Kitty-O raced off to rally up all of their friends to tell them about their new game plan.
Chapter 4:
Working Together
The kids gathered around in a circle to hear Baby Bee’s plan.
“That's a great idea!” Baby Mr.Teddy said. The others nodded in agreement.
“1 Minute left!” Froggy's voice echoed through the field.
“We gotta hurry up before the time runs out”. The children continued their search for eggs.
“Time's up!” Bear blew a whistle at the sound of Froggy's voice. “Please gather in front of the podium for the final tally!”
“It's time. I hope we got enough eggs”. Kitty-O said nervously.
The children gathered with the rest of the competitors in front of the podium.
“Don't worry guys, I know we'll win!” Baby Bee whispered to his teammates as Bear came over to count their eggs. Once Bear had written down all the scores on their clipboards, they made their way back to Froggy. Bear whispered the final placements to Froggy.
“The results are here, folks! In third place, with a total of 7 eggs, is Snuffy!” Snuffy blushed as the other competitors cheered for him.
“Are you sure we got this?” Whispered Kanna.
“There's nothing to worry about.” Answered Baby Bee, trying to reassure her and the others, despite also being nervous.
“In second place, with 24 eggs is, Legs II! & Felipe!” Legs and Felipe started to dance as the other competitors cheered. “And in last place, with an impressive 31 eggs, is THE KIDS OF THE FROGGY ARMY! Congratulations! As your prize, you all get to go on an exclusive Froggy Army Getaway!”
“We did it!” Baby Mr.Teddy high-fived James Yertle Bond. Kitty-O and Kanna hugged each other.
“I knew we could do it if we all worked together!” Baby Bee flew around with joy.

The Summer Festival
Story Description:
The Froggy Army has planned a plethora of fun-filled summer activities to celebrate the season! Part of the Froggy Army decides to visit the local summer festival. Join them as they play minigames, eat treats, and watch the nighttime fireworks show!
Chapter 1:
Making Plans to Visit the Summer Festival!
The Froggy Army is celebrating the summer by hanging out at a summer resort. They had been at the resort for a while now, and the members were having breakfast in the resort’s luxurious dining hall. Cheezer was having his favorite cheese omelet. The members of the Froggy Army were dispersed among the several long dining room tables. Cheezer shared a table with CHAD, Bumbous, Bimbous, Still Watching, Chip, Grape, Love Monkey, Walrus Smolrus, Noel, Roary, and Banana Joe.
Being a new member of the Froggy Army, joining only a month ago, Cheezer felt as though he didn't really know anyone. Other than Bear, the one whom he had shared cheese a few times with, Cheezer had not made much progress getting to know the other members. Now that wasn’t to say that they weren't friendly, in fact, they all made the effort to introduce themselves and add cheese to the rations list, but none of them had really invited Cheezer to hang out with them. The members of the Froggy Army seemed to have their own smaller friend groups and stayed in those often. Cheezer sighed and took another bite of his breakfast.
“Hmm, that’s very interesting indeed.” Said Love Monkey, who was looking into her crystal ball instead of eating her breakfast.
“Is it something bad? Should we be worried?” Noel stopped eating her cereal and looked at Love Monkey with concern. Cheezer listened in to their conversation, also curious himself about her findings.
“Hmmm” Love Monkey paused again. “It seems this summer is about to get even more interesting…”
“So is that a good thing or a bad thing?” Noel hesitated to continue eating.
While they continued to talk, something caught Cheezer's eye on the bulletin board.
Ever since the Froggy Army arrived at this summer retreat, Froggy has had Bear create and leave flyers for the various activities that the members could partake in. But there was one in particular that was different from the rest. Usually the flyers advertised events that take place inside of the retreat but this one was for an event being held by a nearby town. This was it. This was what Cheezer was looking for! Cheezer took a deep breath as he mustered up the courage to bring up the topic of the event.
“Umm, guys. Are you all free tomorrow night?” Cheezer interrupted Noel, who was still pressing Love Monkey for answers. The other members sitting at the table also turned their attention to Cheezer. “There's a summer festival happening tomorrow in the nearby town and I was wondering if you all wanted to go with me?”
Bumbus and Bimbus smiled at each other.
“We’ll go! What about everyone else?”
“Of course we’ll join you, Cheezer!” Noel answered. The others nodded along with her.
“Let’s all meet up at the front entrance tomorrow night!” Cheezer said. He was very excited to have the opportunity to get closer to the other members.
“Interesting, indeed.” Love Monkey smiled at her crystal ball.
Chapter 2:
The Night has Arrived
The night of the summer festival arrived and Cheezer was anxiously waiting for the others to arrive at the entrance.
“Hey, Cheezer!” Roary waved as he and grape ran over.
“Were you waiting long?”
“No, I just got here actually. I’m so excited to start exploring!”
“Me too, ROAR!”
“It seems the crystal ball wasn’t lying, it’s already very lively.” Love Monkey and Noel arrived next.
“I’m glad it was a festival you predicted and not another one of Froggy’s schemes.” Noel let out a sigh of relief.
“There, there.” Banana Joe comforted Noel.
Bumbous and Bimbous arrived next, with CHAD, Grape, Walrus Smolrus, and Still Watching not so far behind them.
“Now that everyone has arrived, what should we do first?” Cheezer looked at all the fun stalls that had been set up.
“I want to do everything!” Walrus Smolrus jumped up and down on Grape’s shoulder.
“But how will all of us be able to see everything? There’s no way we’d have enough time to visit every stall.” Said Bimbous. The others thought long and hard about what they should do.
“Why don’t we split into groups? That way, we can visit the ones we really want to go to and then meet back in time for the fireworks show.” Said Love Monkey.
“That’s a great idea! Let’s split up and meet back up at the top of the hill in an hour.” They then split up into groups and began enjoying the activities that the summer festival had to offer.
Chapter 3:
Enjoying the Festivities
The friends split up into groups and began exploring the various activities laid out throughout the fair grounds.
The first group consisted of CHAD, Roary, Banana Joe, and Still Watching…. They decided to focus on finding the best places to take photos, as per CHAD’s request. The group stopped at many different locations, from the haunted house, to the cotton candy stall, to even the faris wheel!
The second group consisted of Bumbous, Bimbous, and Grape. They spent their time enjoying all the delicious food the event had to offer. Grape munched on all the flavors of popcorn, while Bumbous and Bimbous shared a giant caramel apple.
The last group consisted of Cheezer, Love Monkey, and Noel. They decided to spend their time playing all the fun games. Noel tried one of the shooting games, but kept missing the targets and only walked away with a constellation keychain. Cheezer won first place in the Cheese eating contest, earning him a shiny cheese trophy. Love Monkey successfully predicted the amount of jelly beans in a jar from her crystal ball’s vision and won the entire jar of jelly beans to share with the others.
Soon enough, an hour had passed and it was time for all of the groups to wrap up what they were doing and meet up at the top of the hill for the fireworks show.
Chapter 4:
A Night to Remember
An hour had flown by and the three groups met up at the top of the hill.
“It’s finally time for the fireworks show to start!” Roary roared with excitement. Bimbous flew into the air and landed on Bumbous’s shoulder so he could have a better view. Love Monkey helped Walrus Smolrus and Chip onto her shoulders.
The firework show began with a loud bang! Still Watching… watched the fireworks show intently. Cheezer was mesmerized by all the different colors and patterns. It reminded him of his new friends. How they could all be so different yet when put together, they could create beautiful art.
“Let’s take a group photo!” CHAD grabbed his phone and took a photo of the group enjoying the fireworks show together.
